Professional Background
Prior to moving to Asia, I worked for a number of nonprofit agencies providing services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and children and teenagers in the foster care system. I was the Program Director of my university’s independent radio station and have extensive experience with events and volunteer management.

Seoul Players Board of Directors
In October 2018, I joined the board of directors for Seoul Players. I directed a short play as part of the Seoul Players 2018 Ten Minute Play Festival and produced the 2019 main stage production of The Birds by Aristophanes.

Special Skills
I can sing and have performed in numerous leading musical roles. For the past two years, I have been running games of Dungeons & Dragons as a dungeon master, which involves leading groups of adults through sessions of creative storytelling in the context of fantasy tabletop roleplaying; this requires embodying a number of interesting and unique characters, writing and describing the world around them, and improvising non-stop for 5-8 hours at a time. I have a regular yoga practice and experience with photography, public speaking, and counseling/coaching, and I have been teaching English as a second language in Korea for over four years to students of all ages.
